Since 2008
Griffon Technical Services offers aircraft maintenance and support services to the general aviation fleet of the Greater Montreal and Ottawa regions. Located at the Lachute QC. Airport (CSE4), Griffon has been building on a tradition of high quality aircraft services since January, 2008.
Griffon is a Transport Canada Approved Maintenance Organization (AMO 24-14)and can handle Commercial Operators as well as the Private Owner/Operators. Griffon specializes in piston twin aircraft, such as Cessna 400 series and Piper Navajo, as well as the entire single piston engines airplane fleet, including Cirrus, Cessna, Beechcraft, Mooney, Piper, and Socata. We also offer small turbine engine maintenance (PT6A), aircraft pre-buy inspections, Importations, Maintenance schedule planning, etc… Exterior paint and interior refurbs are available on site.
Griffon’s owner, Dave Cussen, has over 20 years of experience in the aviation maintenance field. His experience in this field is varied, dealing with all aspects of piston engines aircraft maintenance. His goal is to offer high quality aircraft repair services using the most current practices, manuals and training available. His crew and large parts inventory allows for rapid response to customer needs and a faster turn-around time for their aircraft.
Griffon moved into it’s new 9 000 SQ.FT Hangar in october 2018
Dave Cussen has also extensive experience on the SMA SR305-230 Turbo Diesel engine. Dave completed the factory training in France and has performed turbo diesel engine installations on Cessna 182s, and the maintenance that followed.
